Frugal 5 - Beef Pasta Bake

This 5 ingredient Beef Pasta bake is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. Always a hit with the kids, this pasta bake is a tried and true family favourite that deserves a spot on your weeknight dinner plan

Ready In: 20mins 

Serves: 4-5

Ingredients

• Olive Oil

• 700g Italian herbs passata

• 500g  beef, minced

• 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp oregano

• 250g, cream cheese block 

• 400g Pasta spirals 

• 1.5 cups tasty or mozzarella cheese, shredded 

• Salt and pepper to taste 

  
  

Method

Step 1. Cook pasta according to packet instructions, drain and  set aside

Step 2. Add a small drizzle of olive oil to a large pan over medium heat, add beef mince breaking up and cooking until well browned 4-5 mins

Step 3. Add seasoning, cook for another minute until fragrant, add passata and block of cream cheese mixing until the cheese has completely melted

Step 4. Remove from heat, top with shredded cheese and melt in the oven for another 5-7 mins or until golden brown

Step 5. Serve immediately and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
