Cheese Burger Tacos

Ditch Maccas permanently and try Cheese Burger Tacos! This viral recipe features juicy, seasoned beef, melty cheese lettuce, and a zingy homemade sauce that tastes just like the original and all in a crispy taco. It’s a more satisfying and healthier twist on the classic cheeseburger -quick, easy, and full of flavour. Let me know if you try x

Ingredients


For the Beef

  • 400-500g Lean Beef Mince

  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 Diced White Onion

  • 8 small Tortillas

Toppings

  • 8 slices cheese

  • 1/2 cup Lettuce, diced

  • 1 White Onion, diced

  • pickle slices

For the Sauce:

  • 3 1/2 tbsp Fat-Free Mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard

  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 1 tsp Gherkin Relish or 1 tsp pickle juice




Method


Step 1. Prepare the Beef:
Cook the Beef: Season beef mince with spices, roll into 8 meatballs, and press each onto a tortilla. Cook in a pan for 3-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Add cheddar on top and melt.


Step 2. Make the Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, mustard, tomato sauce, and relish in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste.


Step 3. Assemble Tacos: Fold cooked tortillas with melted cheese, then add lettuce, onion, and pickles.


Step 4. Finish with Sauce: Drizzle sauce over the tacos.


Step 5. Serve: Enjoy immediately!
